Lot Essay

The present double factory sealed reference 3712/1A is in new condition and accompanied by the full set of accessories.

Reference 3712
Much to the delight of collectors, reference 3712 was only in production for one year from 2005 to 2006 before being replaced by the reference 5712. Reference 3712 is a triple complication model featuring a power reserve indicator, date and moon phases. The 3712 was of course made with the same proportions as the original “Jumbo” series, for that reason and the fact that it had such a short production run the 3712 has become another cult watch in the Nautilus series with demand always exceeding supply.

The present lot is a ‘second series’, on the ‘second series’, the power reserve is indicated by four small red dots as opposed to the three dots found on the early reference 3712.
