Girard-Perregaux & Ferrari
The prestigious partnership between Girard Perregaux and Ferrari sparked in 1993 when Gino Macaluso, owner of Girard Perregaux and Luca di Montezemolo, president of Ferrari met at the time through a common acquaintance, jeweller Gianni Bulgari. At a young age, both gentlemen met on the race track as passionate drivers in the Italian rallies competing in a Fiat Abarth 124 Spider. The passion to create exceptional design with finest beauty and performance brought the two legends to produce the “Girard Perregaux Pour Ferrari” collection.

An instantaneous success, the first timepiece under the collaboration was the limited edition of 499 pieces self-winding split-seconds gold chronograph reference 9015. The timepiece with the beloved “Cavallino Rampante”, the prancing horse, captured the hearts of watch enthusiasts and Ferraristi and was sold out in record time.
