Provenance
As described in Hans Nadelhoffer’s, Cartier Jewelers Extraordinary, this necklace was one of three jewels purchased by William Fox. Fox was a Hungarian migrant with great vision and skills that founded Twentieth Century Fox in the early 1900s. The corporation started as a chain of penny arcades and small cinemas before becoming one of the leading film production studios.
