Patek Philippe revealed the new reference 5271 at Baselworld in 2014. A variation of the Patek Philippe 5270 Perpetual Calendar Chronograph, this new version in platinum features a black dial and is set with 80 baguette-cut diamonds weighing approximately 4.84 carats. Moreover, the reference 5271 is powered with Patek Philippe’s in-house calibre CH 29-535 PS Q and has been granted the new hallmark of excellence, the PP seal. Presented with a 12-layer lacquer dial with grey sunken sub-registers, a diamond-set bezel, lugs and a diamond-covered deployant clasp, the reference embodies the ultimate excellence in watch making technology and haute joaillerie.
