Following the success of the 50^th Anniversary Submariner nicknamed the “Kermit,” the brand continued the green colored theme and released Reference 116610LV in 2010. The new Submariner featured a green dial, green Cerachrom bezel, and was housed in the next generation “Maxi” case. The new profile of Rolex sport model watches were enhanced with thicker lugs and solid bracelets, making the watch much more substantial and robust. From the all-green color to the new “Maxi” cases, the “Hulk” quickly became a collector staple.
