Lot Essay

Introduced in 1996, Patek Philippe launched the groundbreaking Reference 5035. It was the first self-winding wristwatch to feature an annual calendar, meaning the watch only had to be set once a year. The innovation of the annual calendar from Patek Philippe helped lay down the foundation for the future of the complications family from the manufacturer.

Caliber 315 SQA 24H impressively fits into a 37mm case with a slim profile of only 11mm. The present lot has a silver dial with applied luminous 18k rose gold indices. The case features a screw-in case back which aids with water resistance while showcasing the monumental movement.
