woodcut, circa 1497/98, on laid paper, watermark Tower with Crown and Flower (Meder 259), a very good, dark impression from the Latin text edition of 1511, printing slightly dryly in places, trimmed to or just outside the borderline on three sides, a narrow margin at right, the sheet toned, some small losses and repairs
