engraving, circa 1498, on laid paper, without watermark, a very fine, rich and atmospheric impression, Meder I c, printed with considerable plate tone, trimmed to or just inside the subject, the sheet edge at the sides and above very skilfully made up

Wilhelm H. F. K. Graf von Lepell (1755-1826), Nassenheide, Berlin, Herrnhut (Lugt 1672); bequeathed to Friedrich Wilhelm III, King of Prussia and deposited at the Akademie der Künste, Berlin; transferred to the Kupferstichkabinett, Berlin, in 1835.
Kupferstichkabinett der Staatlichen Museen, Berlin (Lugt 1606); with their de-accession stamp (Lugt 2398); sold before 1869.
