signed ‘A. Rodin’ (on the right side of the neck); inscribed with foundry mark ‘Alexis Rudier. Fondeur. Paris’ (on the back of the neck)
bronze with dark brown patina
Height: 4 1/8 in. (10.4 cm.)
Conceived circa 1885-1886; this bronze version cast between 1930 and 1950

Acquired at the above sale by the family of the present owner.
