Each with caned backrest with a double arched crest rail centered by a carved stylized shell flanked by S-scrolls above a baluster splat and caned seats, on shell-carved cabriole legs and claw-and-ball feet joined by stretchers, one chair incised II to front inside seat rail, the seat cushions covered on both sides in 18th century silk brocade with metallic ground, circa 1730-1740
