Each bottle vase mounted as a decanter, the neck painted with precious objects, a fret-work and flower-head band at the shoulder, the bulbous body with scholars' objects and archaistic vases with flowering lotus and peony, the underside with two concentric blue bands, with a silver stopper, chain and loose ring, the silver mounts stamped with Dutch maker's marks for M. Hackinberg-Middleburg
