Lot Essay

This superb and elegant Toric Tourbillon belongs to the first series of watches to be released by Parmigiani Fleurier, after the brand was established in 1996 by master restorer Michel Parmigiani. The present timepiece is distinguished by its highly attractive finishing - from the sharp Côtes de Geneve to the subtle bevelling - highlighting the skill needed to assemble and finish this high complication.

Parmigiani Fleurier began in 1996 and was founded by Michel Parmigiani in the town of Fleurier, Switzerland. Since 1996, Parmigiani has been making all in-house timepieces and is known for its high quality and uniqueness. Representing the versatility of the Parmigiani Fleurier manufacture, the present Kalpa 30-minute tourbillon is a superb example of their artistic and technical prowess.
