Lot Essay

Offered in excellent overall condition, the present timepiece is part of a limited edition of 300 examples made for Metropolitan Police officers serving within the Royalty and Specialist Protection branch (RaSP), to celebrate Her Royal Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s platinum Jubilee.

The dial displays the highly detailed Royal Tudor Rose, and on the rear, 'E II R', of which special permission had to be granted by the Royal household in order to be featured on the watch. Also on the case back is the original owners personal warrant number (personnel/service identification number), and the Royal Crown.
