In 1992, to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the Royal Oak, Audemars Piguet launched an extremely rarefied series of timepieces with salmon dial - a first for this color dial within the Royal oak family. In the early 2000, Audemars Piguet reintroduced the coveted and enticing salmon dial in two models, a platinum perpetual calendar and a white gold chronograph like the present timepiece.
