Lot Essay

The only known example of this model, Serge Mouille designed the present lot for his friend, Louis Sognot. A furniture and interior designer, Sognot placed the 'Cactus' light in the Parisian apartment of Monsieur Druet. Only one related example of this model is know, a 'Cactus' table lamp, making this a rare and extraordinary design.
