A CHINESE FAMILLE VERTE PORCELAIN ROULEAU VASE
KANGXI PERIOD (1662-1722)
The vase is decorated with a continuous scene of four immortals gathered around a string of cash and precious emblems cascading onto the grassy terrace from a broken string. The shoulder features cartouches with emblems alternating with florets reserved on a diaper ground, below a scholar and attendants on the neck.
