A CHINESE FAMILLE VERTE PORCELAIN BALUSTER JAR, MOUNTED AS A LAMP
KANGXI PERIOD (1662-1722)
The jar is brightly enameled with a continuous scene including a phoenix perched on rocks and with various birds, all amongst peony and chrysanthemum blossoms. The shoulder features four oval floral cartouches on a green trellis ground. The jar is mounted as a lamp but not pierced.
The vase 13 ¾ in. (34.9 cm.) high, hardwood cover
