Reference 533 was introduced into the market in 1937 and made until about 1957, it is distinguished by the elegant look of its Calatrava case with the typical flat bezel. It was predominantly made in pink and yellow gold. Unusually, more watches of reference 533 were made in pink rather than yellow gold suggesting that it may have been aimed at the South American and Southern European markets where pink gold was considered more desirable.
