Bottled from demi john in 2016 by FMA and GD. New wax capsules. Stencilled recent bottles. Levels into neck
Sercial tasting note: Deep old golden color. Intense nose, touch chemical, dried apricots, spices, complex multi layered nose. Rose petals. Smoky tones, roasted hazelnuts. Well matured wine, great balance and long lingering taste. Great Sercial. Rounded taste, full flavored, fine acidity, the acidity is so well integrated in the intense taste. Very rare only 9 bottles remaining. June 2015 EV.
Bual Tasting note: Tasting note: Deep orange colour. Fine honey cake, cacao nose, hazelnuts roasted, sweet, dried blue raisins, fine styled all alive and very well balanced. Obviously aged for a 40 year+ period in wood then transferred to demi john. This ensured a slower development and better preservation of the fruit. In taste dried fruits as in the nose, intense and fine, lovely lingering acidity emerging from the natural sweetness. Great wine. In the after taste dried blue berries, great complexity, its more intense and sweeter than the Verdelho but so well integrated in the wine. Fine length. Amazing wine! Last tasted December 2016 EV.
