Invitation to Consign: 19th Century European Art

In 2011, Christie’s New York sold over $18 million of 19th Century European Art, achieving exceptional and record prices for works by such varied artists as William-Adolphe Bouguereau, Alfred Stevens, Giovanni Boldini and Jean Léon Gérôme.

In April 2012 we will hold a stand-alone sale of 19th Century European Art. We are currently seeking consignments that exemplify the great diversity of our field including Victorian, Realism, Barbizon, Maritime and French Academic art.
