Christie’s Hong Kong Auctions will take place from 8-13 July, with preview exhibitions starting on 4 July and will bring together the world’s foremost art collectors and connoisseurs for an exciting line-up of auctions, inspiring exhibitions and events through both live and online channels.

18.11.66 by Zao Wou-Ki and Frost (I) by Gerhard Richter, masterpieces by two of the most celebrated Asian and Western artists of the modern era, will headline the auctions. Other highlights include important works by Zhang Daqian, Wu Guanzhong and Wang Hui.

Exceptional works of art including a very rare and finely cast gilt-bronze figure of Maitreya and a very rare copper-red glazed monk’s cap Ewer from the Qianlong period (1736-1795) will also be on view, alongside highlights from The Titanium and The Ruby Collection, the most valuable single-owner collection of Patek Philippe timepieces ever offered in Asia.
