Cal. 215 PS nickel-finished lever movement stamped with the Geneva seal, 18 jewels, Gyromax balance, free sprung regulator, the silvered matte dial with applied gold baton numerals, gold dauphine hands, outer beady five minute divisions, subsidiary seconds, the circular case with flat bezel, downturned lugs, snap on back with engraved initials GM, 18K gold Patek Philippe buckle, case, dial and movement signed

Lot Essay

Accompanied by Patek Philippe Certificate of Origin dated 22 July 1987 and Extract from the Archives confirming manufacture of the present watch with in 1987 and its subsequent sale on 12 May 1987. Furthermore delivered with Patek Philippe burgundy leather presentation box and outer packaging. Purchased by the present owner at Golay Fils & Stahl Geneva in 1987, it has never been offered in public before.

Reference 3796 was launched in 1982 and is the successor of the celebrated reference 96.
