drypoint, circa 1889, on Japon, Breeskin's second (final) state, signed in pencil, with full margins, pale light- and mat staining, minor surface soiling (particularly at the sheet edges), the R. Hartshorne inkstamp at the reverse of the lower right image (showing through), rubbing in the center right margin (along the platemark), some creasing at the margin corners, otherwise in good condition
