woodcut, 1918, on tissue-thin Japon, signed in pencil and inscribed with the artist's work number 1874, a very good, richly inked impression of the second, final state, a proof aside from the edition of fifty (there were forty impressions on thin and ten on thicker Japon), published in the portfolio Zwölf Holzschnitte, printed and published by the Staatliches Bauhaus, Weimar, 1921, with wide margins, some very pale mount staining, otherwise in very good condition, framed
