Angelo Mangiarotti favours working in glass, marble, alabaster and crystal, materials all inherent to the culture of his country. At the end of the 1960s and into the 1970s, Mangiarotti conceived a theoretically infinite series of vases in which the characteristics of workmanship of the thick glass and the milling of the marble form an integral part of his work
