Acquired by the present owner in the 1960s
Kurt London led a remarkable life as a US Diplomat, political scientist, and musicologist. He was affiliated with the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra in the 1930s and later published numerous books on East-West relations. Kurt and Jean London travelled extensively, visiting India in the 1960s. This work has been in the family collection since acquisition.
