Cyrillic mark of Pavel Ovchinnikov with the Imperial warrant, Moscow, 1896-1908; and indistinct mark probably for Vasilii Ashmarin, Moscow, 1908-1917
The first, of oval shallow form, partly repoussé and enamelled with stylized shaded floral sprays on blue and green grounds, further enriched with pellets, set with a cabochon ruby on the prow, with shaped handle similarly decorated; the second, oval, with shaped handle and prow, decorated with shaded vari-coloured enamel flowers and geometric designs, on green and cream grounds, embellished with raised gilt beading and with rope-work borders, marked under bases
