Of tapering cup form with loop handle, painted with a half-length portrait of Charles II in blue armour holding an ochre septre and with dark-manganese hair beneath his ochre and blue crown, inscribed KING/CHARLES THE 2D flanked by the inscription BE:MERY:&:WISE surrounded by flourishes and to the other side with the initials E/R:G/1660 within a flourish surround, chipping and flaking to glaze at top rim, some minor flaking to foot and to inside edge of handle, two short cracks to body and with glaze cracks
