With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch with silvered dial, platinum Breguet numerals, bezel set with 0.41 ct of diamonds and platinum bracelet in 1924 and its subsequent sale on 14 July 1941. It has never been offered in public before.
It is exceedingly rare to find a wristwatch dating from the 1920s in such outstanding and original overall condition. The case does not show any signs of overpolishing, the finely engraved scroll decoration to the band, typical for the period, is crisp. The engraved signature on the outside of the case back is clearly visible. The dial, featuring the attractive and much sought-after Breguet numerals, is free of any cosmetic enhancements. Especially noteworthy also is the presence of the original platinum bracelet, made by Gay Frères.
