The Sacrifice of Isaac

We are grateful to Prof. Giuseppe Scavizzi for confirming the attribution to Giordano on the basis of photographs (private communication, 7 December 2008). Dott. Scavizzi suggests a date from Giordano's riberesque period in the mid-1660s, and considers the painting to be particularly close to the works executed in Venice in 1664-65.
