the complete two works in one volume, the first comprising 41 etchings (four of which are large folding plates and 15 double-page), including two title pages and the portrait of Pope Clement XIII, with the etched head- and tailpieces and initials, all very fine, early impressions, printing in bluish-black, published by the artist, Rome, 1761; the second comprising 16 etchings, including the title page, equally fine, early impressions, published by the artist, Rome, 1765; both watermark Fleur-de-Lys in a Double Circle (Hind 3), as usually found in early editions, with the Italian text only, the full sheets, one folding plate torn with one of the panels detached but present, a few other, minor tears and old repairs, bound in a 19th century half vellum binding, some wear to the binding
