Possibly by Charles-Jacques de Mailly, St Petersburg, circa 1775
Circular, with tapering sides, enamelled overall with fruit and vegetables, the base enamelled to simulate basketwork, the hinged cover and base with reeded gold mounts with flaring thumbpieces, joined by corded struts, apparently unmarked
