Marked Fabergé with the Imperial warrant, with the workmaster's mark of Anders Nevalainen, St Petersburg, circa 1890, with later Soviet control marks
Oblong, overall reeded, the hinged cover with gold-mounted cabochon ruby thumb-piece, one end fitted with a hinged vesta compartment and tinder cord, marked inside cover and base
3 7/8 in. (9.8 cm.) long
