Marked Fabergé with the Imperial warrant, with the workmaster's mark of Aleksander Wäkeva, St Petersburg, 1908-1917, scratched inventory number 23871
The partly fluted set comprising a coffee-pot and tea-pot, each with partly domed and fluted hinged covers, with fluted ivory finials and ivory handles, a milk-jug, two handled sugar-bowl and a swing-handled oval cake-basket, gilt interiors, all marked under bases
The coffee-pot 7½ in. (19 cm.) high; the cake-basket 9¾ in. (23.6 cm.) long
