Marked P. Ovchinnikov with the Imperial warrant, Moscow, 1878
Baluster-shaped, on spreading foot with white pellet border, the bowl decorated with four shaped reserves, each containing a cartouche enclosing stylized foliage and flanked by two beasts, on turquoise enamelled ground decorated with gilt stylized scrolling foliage, within silver-gilt ropework rims, the stepped detachable domed cover with bands of geometric and stylized scrolling foliate and floral motifs in blue, white, yellow, orange and black enamel, ball finial, marked under base and inside cover
