Set with a hexagonal-cut sapphire, weighing approximately 24.70 carats, flanked on either side by a modified kite-shaped diamond, to the baguette-cut diamond gallery, mounted in platinum, in a Cartier red leather box

With report CS 28996 dated 10 January 1994 from the American Gemological Laboratories stating that it is the opinion of the laboratory, based on the weight of evidence, that the origin of this sapphire would be classified as Burma, even though certain internal characteristics are also associated with other locations.
