Lot Essay

With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch with pink dial and raised pink gold hour markers in 1940 and its subsequent sale on 31 August 1940.

This watch appears to be the only example of a reference 652 in pink gold known to date, the rarity further enhanced by the original pink dial, confirmed by the Extract from the Archives, and the retailer signature Walser Wald.
