Oval, on four hoof feet, with two leaf-capped handles, the cover with later heraldic lion finial, engraved on both sides with a coat-of-arms, with a fitted silver-plated liner, marked under base and on cover bezel, the cover and tureen stamped 1, the finial apparently unmarked
