A RUBY AND DIAMOND PARURE, BY ELIE CHATILA
Comprising a necklace composed of two rows of graduated oval-shaped rubies, each mounted within a brilliant-cut diamond surround to the marquise and brilliant-cut diamond spacers of foliate design, with similarly-set articulated diamond tassels and backchain; bracelet, ear pendants and ring en suite, with custom-made maker's presentation case and certificate, necklace outer circumference 40.0cm, ear pendants 8.0cm long, bracelet 9.5cm long, ring size 7½cm
Rubies stated to weigh a total of 152.48 carats. Diamonds stated to weigh a total of 186.29 carats.
Accompanied by report no. 57087 dated 19 August 2010 from SSEF Swiss Gemmological Institute stating that the ruby weighing 6.25 carats is of Burmese (Myanmar) origin, with indications of heat and moderate clarity enhancement (5)
