Case of typical form, arched top surmounted by three vase finials, suspension loops to the reverse, foliate marquetry to the front, sides with brass line inlay, green velvet covered steel dial with brass chapter ring, pierced and engraved gilt-brass hands, twin barrel movement with back-pinned baluster pillars, verge escapement and cycloidal cheeks, countwheel strike on bell above, backplate signed Gregoire AParis; pendulum, winding key, door key
