Of traditional form with raised prow, the interior centering a silver coin dated 1739 depicting the Empress Anna, the sides mounted with a twisted rope, the pierced flat handle set with an emerald and a red cabochon hardstone among stylized openwork foliage, the base inscribed 'For coxing Veteran's Race St. Petersburg 18 July 1896.', marked under base
