Of traditional form, the raised prow with an Imperial double-headed eagle finial centring a vacant escutcheon, the body enamelled with stylised scrolling foliage in shades of blue, yellow, green and tan, below a blue enamelled scrolling frieze detailed with white beads, within blue pellet borders, on a gilt stippled ground, the stepped hook handle similarly enamelled and applied with the St Petersburg coat-of-arms below the Imperial crown, marked under base
12 in. (30.5 cm.) long
