MARK OF THE 6TH ARTEL, MOSCOW, 1908-1917, BEARING FABERGÉ MARKS
Rectangular with rounded corners, the upper section of the hinged cover enamelled with a scene depicting Ivan Tsarevich riding a horse by a river, the lower section enamelled with Pan-Slavic foliage in shades of pink, purple, blue and green on an olive green ground, within a border of flowerheads, geometric forms and ropework coils, the reverse similarly enamelled with a castle in a landscape, gilt interior, with cabochon paste push-piece, marked on sides
