BY THE IMPERIAL PORCELAIN FACTORY, ST PETERSBURG, CIRCA 1860-1870
Each ovoid, one painted with a pattern of gilt ciselé dotted motifs on pale yellow ground, each side centring a roundel with bouquet on white ground within gilt ciselé border painted with trompe l'oeil pearls, the sides decorated with butterflies, the other with two roundels at both sides, each painted with a bird in a landscape encircled by a flower garland border on white laced ground, both unmarked
3¾ in. (9.5 cm.) high and smaller (2)
