A SET OF FOUR LOUIS XVI GILTWOOD AND AUBUSSON TAPESTRY FAUTEUILS
CIRCA 1785
Each with arched rectangular padded back, arms and seat covered in Aubusson tapestry decorated with flowers and drapery, the frames carved with stiff leaf, the back with detached columns, on fluted legs and touple feet, with paper label inscribed 'Grand Salon Fauteuil', regilt and restorations to the tapestry covers, particularily to the light silks on the seat.
