With presentation case, outer packaging, certificate, product literature and Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming dates of anufacture and sale.

Reference 5059 was introduced in 1998 and was replaced by reference 5159 in 2006. The model possesses the intriguing complication of a perpetual calendar mechanism with retrograde date hand, and is one of the very few perpetual calendar wristwatches with sweep centre seconds. Furthermore, it displays another of Patek Philippe's celebrated traditions - the "officer's"-style case, featuring a hinged gold dust cover that protects the sapphire crystal display back.

Fresh to the market, the present watch is preserved in very good overall condition.
