the English wares comprising a demilune tray with pierced rim and a butter dish, cover and liner, the cover with an ivory finial, both with marks of Mappin & Webb, Sheffield, 1925; the American wares, all marked 'Sterling', comprising a circular commemorative tray, mark of Stieff, engraved; a large circular dish and a pair of pierced oval dishes, marks of Gorham, monogrammed; a Revere bowl; and a sugar bowl and cover and an open sugar bowl, all with retailer's marks for J. E. Caldwell, monogrammed; together with a silver-plated oval tray
