Lots 99 and 101 are from Jaeger-LeCoultre's "Memovox Tribute to Polaris" series, launched in 2008 to commemorate the celebrated 1960 Memovox Polaris, a diver's wristwatch incorporating an innovative alarm mechanism. The re-edition is equipped with an alarm striking onto a suspended gong, saluting one of the greatest 20th century sports watches, the Memovox Polaris. Faithful to the aesthetics of its illustrious predecessor, it shares the same distinctive design, energetic lines and spirit of performance.
