THE MOUNTS UNMARKED, POSSIBLY DUTCH, MID-18TH CENTURY
Ovoid, on a stepped circular foot rising to a knopped stem, supporting a coconut carved body with vignettes of Emperor Peter I, Empress Catherine I and the Imperial double-headed eagle, the detachable cover carved with military motifs, the finial cast as an Imperial double-headed eagle, apparently unmarked
