drypoint, 1917, on heavy greenish-grey handmade paper, signed in pencil, dated and inscribed 1. Eigendruck, apparently the first proof impression, printed by the artist, before the edition of fifty on laid paper and twenty on Japan published by Fritz Gurlitt, Berlin, the full sheet, with deckle edges on three sides, a few short tears at the sheet edges, some time staining, otherwise in good condition
